The other day, I told the cashier at KFC that I liked the hat she was wearing. It kinda looked like this one, but hers was gray. (I love hats, by the way; I've often wondered if I could rock one of these.) I was afraid I was going to sound dumb because it seems like such a small thing to compliment, but you should have seen this girl's face light up; I almost couldn't believe it! I have no idea what kind of day she was having, but hopefully I was able to make it a little better. Just goes to show that you never know what a difference a kind word can make.
