Getting Luck-y

#2: Attend a professional sporting event.
Tom's brother Patrick is officially a Louisville resident! He moved here about a week before Christmas, and the rest of the Duttweilers came here to help him get settled and spend Christmas with us. When Tom and I first found out they were all coming, we started brainstorming about things to do. Eventually, one of us said something to the effect of "Hey, we're only two hours away from Indianapolis...why not see if we can all go to a Colts game?" So...guess what we did today!

Colts game! Colts gaaaaaaaame!

It was a brisk 19 degrees in Indianapolis this morning, and there were several inches of snow on the ground from a few days ago. Fortunately, Lucas Oil Stadium has a retractable roof and retractable windows in each end zone, all of which were closed today, so it was surprisingly comfortable inside.

Today's game was really special. Not only was it the last game of the regular season, but it was Colts' head coach Chuck Pagano's first game since September, when he was diagnosed with a treatable form of leukemia. So, needless to say, the Colts had a lot to play for, but they really rose to the occasion and beat the Texans, 28-16!

My camera surprised me by taking some pretty good shots, even from far away. Check out Andrew Luck over there on the right, getting ready to do something awesome. What a great day!
