Advent Book!

#10: Read 30 non-academic books.
I just remembered that Tom and I read through a book during this past Advent season! It's called Come, Thou Long-Expected Jesus, and I think it has earned a place in the Duttweiler Christmas tradition book (if such a thing exists). There are 22 readings, all by some great heroes of the faith...guys like Martin Luther, John Calvin, and George Whitefield, and some "modern-day heroes" like John Piper, Alistair Begg, and R.C. Sproul. Wow!

We went through a reading each night leading up to Christmas, and it really helped us keep in mind what Christmas is all about. I highly recommend it. Pick it up this year!
