A Day with No Work?

#28: Watch every Best Picture Oscar winner from 1960-2013. (13/53)
#43: Create a cleaning schedule.
#69: File old papers.

Checking off another Oscar winner...I found Oliver! for free online! Thank you, Hulu! :)

And since I can never seem to do one thing at a time, especially at home by myself, I pulled out all the old papers from our guest room and started sorting them during the movie. These papers were in little piles all over the room: in drawers, on the desk, on the floor...Anyway, after I gathered what I could find, I set up my "workstation" in the living room and got to it. Everything will eventually go into one of three places: the trashcan, the shredder, or the files.

Man oh man, am I a packrat! Would you believe I still had my standardized test scores from K-5...?! (Truth be told, I didn't get rid of those...but at least now they're in a file.)

Speaking of tidying up, I also started working on a monthly cleaning schedule, which I hope to have finished by the end of the day. And in other news, it looks like work's picking up again starting tomorrow, so I can go back to having a life outside this apartment soon...!
